Listen: New social enterprise making ‘remarkable’ women

Shivani Gopal is the brains behind new social enterprise ‘The Remarkable Woman’. The Remarkable Woman is described as a ‘Girls Club meet Ted Talks’ and aims to empower women to make an impact personally, financially and professionally.

Gopal, who works in the financial sector, was told that she was “too young, too pretty” to be able to receive mentoring from an older male in her industry at the time. Gopal wants to make sure that other women do not experience this and are not held back because of their gender.

Third Sector had a chat to Gopal about her new social enterprise and her personal journey that lead to the establishment of ‘The Remarkable Woman’.
