Major change-makers in the fundraising space have been recognised for their work at the Fundraising Institute Australia’s (FIA) 2019 national awards.
FIA’s 2019 National Awards for Excellence in Fundraising is a key event in fundraising, with over 400 professionals, agencies and suppliers attending the event this year.
CEO of FIA, Katherine Raskob, said: “The FIA Awards recognise the collective good work and impact of the fundraising sector in Australia.
“They honour excellent fundraising campaigns, best practice and accomplishments of some very talented individuals and teams.”
Awards in 13 categories were handed out, with Plan International Australia, the Harry Perkins Institute of Medical Research and Guide Dogs QLD receiving two awards.
“We congratulate our nominees and winners, all of whom have demonstrated excellent fundraising practice over the past year,” Raskob said.
“The Awards are now in their 40th year and I’m pleased to see our members continue to demonstrate passion and dedication in their efforts to deliver excellent fundraising.”
