Applications are open for a new Social Innovation Learning Network for the third sector, which will bring together like-minded professionals across charities and not-for-profits to learn, share and innovate for the future.

Hosted by The Australian Centre for Social Innovation (TACSI) and supported by the Fay Fuller Foundationthe network will provide interactive sessions over six months, drawing on an array of TACSI tools and approaches.

The network steward will be Melanie Rayment, TACSI’s Director Social Innovation Consulting.

“We aim to build authentic and valuable relationships that draw on everyone’s knowledge, so we can unearth practical and actionable steps around our challenges,” Rayment said.

According to Rayment, her organisation recognises the pivotal role that charities and not-for-profit organisations play in enhancing people’s lives in Australia.

We see how hard these leaders work to make innovation happen, and we know how isolating it can be,” she said. That’s why we’re committed to helping leaders connect with others in the same situation, and create the conditions needed so these leaders realise their ambitions in the social sector.

The first network will be capped at 30 people and if there is demand beyond this, TACSI will consider further cohorts.

“We want to connect 30 motivated leaders committed to making social innovation a reality in their organisation and across the sector,” Rayment said. “We’re looking for people who lead teams and want more support at a leadership levelThey will connect and learn from others in a variety of roles and organisations.

The cost to participate in the six-month program is $1500 AUD and applications close 5pm Friday 26th June 2020. More details and the application form can be found athttps://www.tacsi.org.au/si-learning-network/
