Event Overview

What is this event about?

The latest ABS national study of mental health and wellbeing has revealed higher levels of anxiety, psychological distress and depression among millions of Australians.

Mental health is a key component of overall health and wellbeing. More so, amongst First Nations people where health and wellbeing is viewed holistically and is closely connected to the individual, their family, community and Country.

Third Sector’s 6th National Social and Emotional Wellbeing Forum will be the largest gathering for the mental health and SEWB community aiming to develop strategies and tacking the rising rate of mental health concerns amongst children and young people, focussing on the importance of recovery along with prevention and intervention. The focal point of this forum will also be to rethink, improvise and provide mental health service delivery for men, vulnerable group and Indigenous Elders in community.

"An amazing event bringing so many passionate people together who are dedicated to changing and saving lives and sharing strategies that may not have been thought about without this event, thank you!"
