New third sector appointments

The new CEO of the Spatial Industries Business Association‘s Queensland branch, Simpson, is a member of the executive committee of the International Society of Digital Earth and Chair for its working committee dedicated to digital cities. He is also a former Auckland City Councillor and Chair of Transport.

beyondblue‘s new Deputy Chair, Stott Despoja, joined the organisation’s board in 2008 after a successful career in politics, which started when she became the youngest female ever to enter Federal Parliament at 26.

Castlemaine District Community Health‘s newest board member, de Vrieze, is also on the Board of the Community Foundation for Central Victoria, and is a member of the Bendigo Volunteer Resource Centre Advisory Committee, the Bendigo National Aborigines and Islanders Day Observance Committee and bankmecu’s Reconciliation Action Plan Committee.
