Scholarships available to attend social enterprise course

The four-month program, which will be offered in Melbourne from 12 August 2013, provides the opportunity for up to 14 participants to work collaboratively with a team of facilitators, business experts and seasoned entrepreneurs to either launch or grow an innovative social enterprise.

To be eligible, not-for-profit executives must:

  • Have an innovative social venture ready to launch or grow that can demonstrate at least 25 per cent of the venture’s revenue will be derived from trading income
  • Demonstrate passion, drive and commitment to the social venture – whether it is leading a new enterprise or innovating from within an established organisation
  • Have conducted thorough research on the venture and can demonstrate the need and market opportunity
  • Demonstrate a high level of personal effectiveness and ingenuity
  • Be available for all 12 days of the program.

An information night will be held for interested applicants in Melbourne on 3 June 2013.
