The ‘Managing the Economic Downturn’ will evaluate the predicted increases and decreases in fundraising, and other sources of income, that could result from the economic downturn in order to inform the decisions that policy makers and charities could face if income streams weaken and the demand for services rises.

In Australia, there have been early indications that charities are anticipating a drop in the donations they will receive, and have begun to reduce the number of services that they offer.

Each participant will receive copies of the report to be released in mid-June. The survey closes on Monday 4 May 2009.
