Give for Good, the registered charity of Domino’s Pizza Enterprises Ltd (Domino’s), is celebrating its seventh birthday in Australia.

Over the past seven years, the Charity has achieved a number of remarkable milestones that reflect its commitment to making a positive impact in communities across the country.

Give for Good General Manager Christine Bryant said that she is humbled to be at the helm of the Charity as it enters its eighth year in Australia.

Working within an organisation that embodies a shared commitment to making a positive difference in our communities, where every customer, franchisee, volunteer, and member of the Board plays a vital role, is truly inspiring,” said Bryant.

“The past seven years have been marked by growth and achievement, thanks to the collaborative efforts of our community.

“With their continued support, we look forward to impacting more lives and supporting more communities for many years to come,” added Bryant

In celebration of the Charity’s impact, Give for Good has made a list of seven highlights to celebrate seven years of its Australian operations:

  1. A community of compassion

At the heart of Giving for Good is a community of like-minded people. From Domino’s support office to loyal customers, franchisee partners, and the communities that are positively impacted by Give for Good’s initiatives, the Charity is humbled by the compassion and generosity of those who drive its efforts.

  1. 2. Domino’s for Good Day

The inaugural Domino’s for Good Day was held on 9 February 2022. Created to recognise World Pizza Day in a meaningful way, the fundraising event was held again in 2023 and has since become an important event in the calendar, as Domino’s customers and team members come together to donate $1 per pizza to ultimately do more good.

  1. Over $4.1 million raised through Round Up for Charity

In April 2018, Give for Good introduced the ‘Round Up for Charity’ initiative, allowing customers to round up their pizza orders to the nearest dollar for Give for Good. In the past five years, the program has received overwhelming support, resulting in over $4.1 million in donations across Australia. That’s almost $2,250 donated to Give for Good through Round Up for Charity per day!

  1. Support in times of knead

During times of crisis, Domino’s and Give for Good have stepped up by dollar-matching funds raised through Doughraisers in support of disaster relief appeals. An example of this is raising $150,000 for GIVIT during the QLD and NSW Flood Appeal in February 2022. GIVIT used these funds to support and purchase essential items for those affected by the flooding event.

  1. Impactful partnerships

Over the past seven years, Give for Good has formed meaningful partnerships with more than 30 individual organisations, contributing a remarkable $3.5 million to support a wide range of causes across Australia. Give for Good Australia is proud to currently partner with Lifeline, The Smith Family, Rural Aid, Orange Sky, The Reach Foundation, Disaster Relief Australia and The Pinnacle Foundation.

  1. Recognitions and awards

Domino’s and Give for Good’s commitment to giving has not gone unnoticed. In 2022, the Charity was honoured with the Queensland Corporate Philanthropist of the Year award. In 2023, it proudly accepted the Queensland Corporate Volunteering Awards from Volunteering Queensland, further solidifying its commitment to social responsibility.

  1. A total of $3.5 Million donated

Since its inception, Give for Good has contributed a staggering $3.5 million to support its charity partners, one-off donations, and localised support.

As Give for Good embarks on its eighth year, the organisation invites Domino’s customers to continue rounding up their pizza orders for charity.

Additionally, mark your calendars for a special celebration – Domino’s for Good Day on February 9, 2024, coinciding with World Pizza Day. It’s a day to come together and celebrate the power of giving.

Give for Good is both humble and proud of the achievements it has accomplished over the past seven years.

The organisation looks forward to the continued support of its customers, partners, and the wider community as it strives to continue making a meaningful impact in the years to come.
