Shaper held the previous position with HISA as Chair of the West Australian HISA Branch. With a background as an occupational therapist, Shaper is a world leader in Allied Health Informatics and has recently completed a PhD in Health Informatics at Curtin University.
“The selection process was a difficult one with many very fine applicants. The board and I are looking forward to working with Louise and her engaging enthusiasm to take our Society to the next level,” said HISA President, Michael Legg.
