The Remote Jobs and Communities Program (RJCP), which is due to commence in July 2013, aims to break down the barriers to employment and participation for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander and non-Indigenous people in remote areas of Australia.
The program will provide a single point of contact for job seekers and employers in every Australian remote region, and will have a greater focus on adapting activities to local requirements and opportunities.
Applicants need to demonstrate their ability to work with communities in the regions they apply for, as well as the capacity to deliver services.
