The Pratt Foundation was established in 1978 by Richard and Jeanne Pratt with the shared vision of supporting charitable enterprises and adding value to philanthropy.

The Foundation is one of the largest private sources of philanthropy in Australia with the Pratt family donating up to $10 million a year to charities.

Victorian Premier John Brumby described the self-made businessman and prominent philanthropist as a “great Victorian and a great Australian”.
