The fact sheets are based on common concerns found in the risk analysis and assessments being done by the Federal Government. The Federal Government released the sheets as part of an ongoing initiative to encourage participation in the tax system.
Fact sheets answer the following questions:
- Do you regularly review your organisation’s tax obligations?
- Is your charity entitled to access charity tax concessions?
- Are donations to your organisation tax deductible?
- Is your ancillary fund distributing correctly?
- Are your organisation’s contact details up-to-date?
