ThirdSector Women’s Leadership Seminar

To be held in Melbourne on 21 July at Rydges on Swanston, attendees will hear from not-for-profit sector leaders, participate in a workshop on leadership development, and have ample opportunity to network with colleagues and associates.

Jo Swift, Kids Under Cover CEO, and Patrizia Torelli, Spheres of Influence International Managing Director and OnSide Victoria Chair, will address delegates on the different aspects of leaderships and their experiences in Australia’s not-for-profit industry.

Swift and Torelli will join other third sector leaders in a panel discussion on leadership, in which participants will have the opportunity to join in the discussion with questions and thoughts.

A delicious lunch will give participants an opportunity to network with industry colleagues and continue the discussion launched by the presentations and panel discussion.

After lunch, Andrew Marty of SACS Consulting will lead an interactive workshop on leadership development. SACS Consulting is a human resource and organisational psychology consulting firm specialising in bringing intellectual capital from the world of research and turning it into simple, highly effective tools to solve workplace problems and optimise performance.

Marty’s workshop will untangle the essentials of leadership, looking at why leadership is important, the behaviour of effective leaders and how leadership qualities can be developed in not-for-profit industry professionals.

This seminar is a must-attend event for anyone interested in the development of women’s leadership in Australia’s third sector.

$50 from each registration will be donated to the International Women’s Development Agency.
