Westpac donates $100,000 to Tasmanian Bushfire Appeal

Westpac Tasmanian General Manager David Fagan says Westpac is committing the funds to assist those who need the most immediate help.

In addition, Westpac is providing temporary accommodation and emergency funds to customers in the worst affected areas. It is also fast-tracking insurance claims and offering a Disaster Relief Package to all of its bushfire-impacted customers.

“Our thoughts are with everyone who has been affected by the bushfires here in Tasmania,” says Westpac Tasmanian General Manager David Fagan.

“We share the sentiment of all Australians as to the severe nature of this tragedy and extend our deepest sympathies to all those individuals who have been impacted by the devastation.”
