PetRescue is seeking an experienced Head of Fundraising to help our small organisation achieve our mission of creating a future where every pet is safe, respected and loved.

  • You’ve successfully led “wow level” campaigns.
  • You’re immersed in the fundraising industry and enjoy being part of the community and keep up to date with events and best practice.
  • You’ll be working closely to design, guide, and lead inspiring fundraising campaigns with delivery teams across the organisation, and will bring everyone along, including our partners and stakeholders on the journey.
  • You’ll champion ideas with confidence and enjoy collaborating and working in a team.

 

Essential skills and experience

 

  • Digital native with demonstrated success in digital fundraising and peer-to-peer campaigns
  • Supporting qualifications and expertise
  • Industry knowledge – experience in similar organisations or industries and memberships and affiliations within the Australian fundraising industry
  • Knowledge of the responsibilities including an understanding of the legal, compliance, licensing, reputational, ethical, fiduciary, and financial responsibilities of fundraising.
  • Experience using a fundraising CRM and creating a data-informed fundraising strategy from the insights
  • Referees for a 360 degree reference check

For the right candidate, this role is considered an executive position. You’ll be reporting to the Managing Director and working closely alongside both the Managing Director and Head of Partnerships and Programs.

 

PetRescue is a nationally distributed organisation. This role is open to candidates seeking full-time employment and will most suit those set up to work remotely from home with stable internet, and also comfortable if the circumstances change to an occasional in-person co-location in future.
