Blackbaud Pacific will donate $10,000 to a charity, NGO or university as part of an online competition.
The Blackbaud $10K Challenge aims to showcase the passion of the NFP sector and to give fundraisers a chance to share their stories with the world.
Senior Marketing Manager at Blackbaud, Stacey Astley-Clark said, “Fundraisers are the unsung heroes of the Not-for-Profit sector, who dedicate blood, sweat and tears to achieving their mission.”
“The Blackbaud $10K Challenge is a chance to recognise these incredible people and celebrate the spirit of our sector,” said Astley-Clark.
Richenda Vermeulen founder of Not-for-Profit digital agency ntegrity will be one of the judges.
“Those that change the world are fuelled by passion and successful by perseverance. $10,000 can change a not for profit, it can change a business, it can change a life,” said Vermeulen.
Entrants are required to submit a short video or captioned image that conveys how $10,000 could be used to ‘power their passions’. Submissions will be shared online using #sharethepassion and put to a public vote between 1st June and 15th July 2016.
A panel of independent judges will review the top five entries and the winner will be announced on the 2nd August.
