I have enjoyed a long and very successful career in the media across radio, television and print. From being Editor of Sydney University’s student newspaper ‘Honi Soit’ to then being one of four cadets chosen from 5000 applicants by the ABC for their Public Affairs Radio Department (AM/PM/The World Today). I have worked in television as a journalist, investigative reporter, foreign correspondent, producer and presenter at the ABC, Channel Nine and Channel Ten and have also written for a number of publications including News Ltd and Fairfax Media. A three times Walkley Finalist, a highly commended Walkley Award winner and have also won a number of other media awards. I have covered everything from rural affairs, natural disasters, international events, domestic and international politics. In the next stage of my career as a communications consultant I have worked in both state and federal government across the political spectrum and in the corporate sector. Presently I have a number of private clients including Dogs Australia and Dogs Queensland and am currently National Campaign Manager for the Disability Doesn’t Discriminate Campaign in the run up to the 2022 Federal election. I reside in Brisbane where I can keep an eye on three sons, Nicholas, who has Down Syndrome, Jake, an international DJ and Lucas, who just graduated from university winning the University Medal.
