Leading early childhood education provider, Affinity Education Group is celebrating a special milestone as the organisation announces its portfolio has grown to include more than 200 centres across Australia.

The early education provider, which now offers more than 16,000 licenced places per day to more than 21,000 enrolled children between the ages of 0-6, has skyrocketed past its 200 centre milestone due to acquisitions and expects to expand to 205 centres before the end of 2022.

“This year we’ve seen that Australian families are increasingly seeking high-quality childcare to provide their little ones with the best opportunities for success before they start school, and we intend on continuing to expand our community of centres into more areas of the country in 2023,” said Tim Hickey, Affinity Education Group CEO.

To mark the milestone, Affinity has announced plans for a new partnership with The Smith Family, a national children’s education charity that works with children and young people to overcome educational inequality caused by poverty and empower them to make the most of their education so they can change their futures.

Affinity Education Group plans to commence a three-year partnership with The Smith Family and will sponsor students through the charity’s Learning for Life program.

The charity currently provides almost 60,000 young Australians in need with educational support as a practical way of supporting them to create better futures for themselves.

“Our vision is creating a world where every child has the opportunity to create a better future for themselves, no matter what their circumstances, and this partnership will allow us to offer our education support program to hundreds more young Australians, empowering them to build their skills and unlock their potential,” said Doug Taylor, The Smith Family CEO.
