Federal policy director to head AER

Thorn was previously a project director in the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet. He has also worked as a policy and management consultant in the fields of housing, indigenous affairs, regional economic development and employment, and has particular expertise in areas such as crime prevention, law and justice.
