Over $250,000 raised for bushfire victims through fee-free crowdfunding platform

Community organisations that have lost infrastructure and/or assets in the fires, or directly serve the needs of the affected communities, can apply for grants of up to $10,000 from the Fund to help rebuilding efforts.

Gregg Harris, General Manager, NAB Retail, South Australia and Northern Territory said: “We are turning our attention to the challenging task of recovering and rebuilding in the coming weeks and months.”

“Impacted customers can also access our disaster relief package, so whether it is a home owner that needs a break from their mortgage repayments, or a sporting club repairing damaged facilities, we are here to help.”

In addition, NAB has started collecting donations for Red Cross to support its work with communities impacted by the bushfires.

Donations can be made over-the-counter at any NAB branch in South Australia, or by logging on to internet banking. To do this select Funds Transfer -> Donation ->Charity -> Red Cross for SA bushfire.

Grant application details

Community organisations can visit a NAB branch or talk to a NAB banker for more information on eligibility and how to apply for a grant.
