$75,000 available for charities

This year the program’s three grants have been increased from up to $15,000 to up to $25,000.

To be eligible charities must be innovative, help young people and be registered with the Australian Taxation Office as an approved charity. Applicants must also provide services or programs in the area of disadvantaged youth, education, youth health or mental health. Particular attention will be given to charities that address the needs of Australia’s indigenous communities in these areas.

The program urges all charities to apply stating “don’t be shy to apply if you feel you have a unique program or idea, even if it has never been funded before.”
