$80,000 available for not-for-profits

Each year the Aspire Program presents 14 awards with a total value of $80,000 to individuals to attend a relevant international conference or undertake further study.

Attending an international conference provides an invaluable forum to discuss tools and processes and provides networking opportunities with peers. For individuals working in the not-for-profit sector, travel and accommodation costs are a hindrance due to limited time and budgets.

The Perth Convention Bureau recognised this and introduced the Aspire Program in conjunction with the City of Perth, City of Mandurah, the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons, Australian Securities Exchange and Western Australia’s five universities – Curtin University, Edith Cowan University, Murdoch University, the University of Notre Dame and the University of Western Australia.

Funding through the Aspire Program covers travel, accommodation and registration expenses to the maximum value of the award.
