For-purpose agency Marlin Communications (Marlin) has announced the launch of the Marlin Web Platform – an exciting new platform that allows charities to build an affordable best practice website to further achieve their mission and raise more funds.

Marlin has spent over 20 years serving the for-purpose sector. In that time, they have built over 100 fundraising websites for organisations including Plan International, Leukemia Foundation and RSPCA NSW.

Marlin Communications is a full-service agency working with charities and for-purpose organisations. We use our expertise and experience to create communications and platforms that speak to audiences, inspiring them to act and create a world they want to live in.

Marlin is also certified B-Corporation, and one of Australia’s few certified carbon neutral agencies.

Marlin’s digital expertise and reputation as one of Australasia’s most respected fundraising specialists, puts them in a unique position in the sector. It has now enabled them to develop a platform that gives every NFP access to the very best technology and tools, regardless of their size.

“Over the years we have seen so many marketers and fundraisers locked into systems that are working against them and reducing their ability to create awareness and support for their cause. When we look at the research, nearly half of Australian and New Zealand NFPs want to improve their website but lack the budget, resources or capability to do it,” said Jason Ruffell Smith, Marlin’s Digital Director.

This is why we had to develop a more accessible and affordable solution for the NFP community. The Marlin Web Platform is designed to make it easier for charities to do even more good in the world,” Smith said.

The Marlin Web Platform is built using WordPress and offers best practice fundraising website templates, plug-and-play features and a user-friendly CMS.

It is designed to be a more affordable solution that helps charities of any size become more agile and responsive. It has the ability to adapt and grow with organisations, adding features and functionality such as ecommerce integration and member portals when needed.

“We want to help every social changemaker succeed. We created the Marlin Web Platform because we want charities to benefit from the knowledge and experience we have accumulated over 20 years of serving our sector. I know that it will help more purpose-driven organisations to get ahead with fewer headaches,” Karl Tischler, Marlin’s Founder and Managing Director said.
