Navitas English, a nation-wide English language educator, has joined the Canterbury-Bankstown Chamber of Commerce (CBCC) as their newest Corporate Sponsor.

Navitas English has been providing language and employability skills training in Australia since 1988 by teaching English skills to over 8000 students a year. Meanwhile, the CBCC is the fastest-growing Chamber of Commerce in NSW, having amassed a thriving community of more than 390 members since their founding in 2016.

Navitas English, in their sp

onsorship, can offer personalised training courses to member organisations. These free courses, offered through the Australian Government’s ‘Foundation Skills for Your Future Program’ (FSFYF) can be tailored around an organisation’s needs and cover literacy, numeracy and digital skills to assist employers in optimising the effectiveness of their employees.

“Our sponsorship of the CBCC is an exciting opportunity for us to be able to invest in and support local businesses to help every employee to reach their potential,” said Genevieve Lewis, Stakeholder Engagement Manager at Navitas English.

“Small local businesses are a foundation for many local communities and by helping these organisations improve their employee’s workplace skills, we can improve outcomes for employers and employees alike, she said.

By becoming a corporate partner of the CBCC, Navitas English joins their voice to the growing business community in Canterbury-Bankstown and their shared interest in growing the local area into an ideal place to study, live, visit and work.

Both organisations focus on empowering those who need it most, believing that training and education bring new opportunities to those in the community. While the English language educator continues its mission to transform lives through boosting English skills, the CBCC focuses on providing business resources and information for SMEs to manage disruption.

Through Navitas English’s support in the coming 2021, the CBCC is strengthened to continue being a premier destination for business networking and education in Sydney’s West.

“We’re excited to welcome Navitas English as our newest Corporate Sponsor to help us take the next step towards boosting our local business community. We are proud to be able to provide even more resources for our members, and having Navitas English on board with their educational experience in quality training will only ensure the resources we provide are comprehensive and inclusive, strengthening local business from the root, Wally Mehanna, CEO of the CBCC said.
