FREE registrations now open for NFPs’ professional development

Third Sector Expo 2012 will be held at Hilton on the Park, Melbourne, and will feature practical advice, interactive Q&A sessions, networking and an exciting exhibition of key services for not-for-profit (NFP) organisations.

In a first, the exhibition is free to attend and the two-day professional development conference is free for the first attendee from each NFP organisation.

There are a range of expert speakers offering their insight and advice to help improve NFP organisations’ revenue, communication, membership benefits, marketing, legal compliance and events.

Speakers include:

• Grants and Sponsorship Facilitator Warren Cecil from Manningham City Council who specialises in identifying, activating and securing funding. At Third Sector Expo 2012 Warren will teach NFPs the secrets to proposing and securing corporate partnerships and government grants.
• Revenue specialist Frank Spranger who is responsible for successful ventures including a NFP partnership with a bank that netted the NFP more than $6.5 million. Frank is an expert at all things revenue related and will be at Third Sector Expo 2012 to share his wisdom and provide tips to transition your NFP into the future.
• Governance expert Naomi Brown who has been the CEO of the Australasian Fire and Emergency Service Authorities Council since December 2006 and is the director of the National Aerial Fire Fighting Centre, the Bushfire Cooperative Research Centre, and Mackillop Family Services. Hear Naomi explain the secrets to effective governance at Third Sector Expo 2012.
• Legal experts and NFP specialists PilchConnect will be offering key advice and answering questions for NFPs attending Third Sector Expo 2012.
