mcrIT hosted its third annual Charity Golf Day on November 24, 2023, marking another successful year of bringing together industry leaders and enthusiasts for a day of golf in support of noble causes.
Since 1988, mcrIT has successfully streamlined and managed information technology for a wide range of Australian businesses.
This year, Independent Community Living Australia (ICLA) and The Kids’ Cancer Project were selected as the beneficiaries.
CEOs Owen Finegen of The Kids’ Cancer Project and William (Bill) Campos of ICLA took to the stage to share the incredible work their respective organisations undertake.
Sam Vakili, mcrIT’s CEO, expressed his gratitude for the overwhelming support the Charity Golf Day received from the technology community.
“It is truly heartening to witness the generosity and commitment of our industry in making a difference. mcrIT is honoured to host this event and contribute to the remarkable efforts of Independent Community Living Australia and The Kids’ Cancer Project,” said Vakili.
The Kids’ Cancer Project is an independent national charity supporting childhood cancer research. Since 2005 with strong community support, they’ve committed $70 million dollars to scientific studies to help children with many types of cancer.
The funds raised during the Charity Golf Day will support the vital programs and initiatives of ICLA and The Kids’ Cancer Project, furthering their missions to improve the lives of individuals and families facing challenges.
mcrIT looks forward to continuing its tradition of hosting the Charity Golf Day in the coming years, fostering a culture of philanthropy and corporate responsibility within the technology sector.
