Uniting Financial Services (UFS) appoints David Creagh to the role of Head of Lending.

David, who joined UFS as Senior Origination and Relationship Manager in January this year, commenced his new role on Monday 3 July. He will be responsible for managing UFS’ lending division and leading a team of six lending and operations specialists.

For more than 90 years, UFS has been helping Church organisations to manage and grow their finances with its range of financial products, which include Church and school lending, ethical managed funds and fixed term investments.

David brings deep experience of well over 40 years in the finance industry. Prior to joining UFS, he spent two years as Relationship Director for Westpac Bank after five years as Senior Property Finance Consultant for commercial broker Lendfin. David previously spent over 35 years with Westpac in senior management roles, including leading commercial banking teams in the North-Western area of Sydney.

“We are delighted to welcome another high-calibre professional to our leadership team. David’s significant experience and established relationships will be an asset in continuing to grow our commercial, church and school lending book,” said Neil King, UFS Executive Director.

David replaces Peter Stubley, who recently retired.

“Over the past four years, Peter has played a key role in leading and redefining the UFS credit policy and growing the commercial loan portfolio. We would like to thank Peter for his significant contribution,” said King.
