Funding of $10,000 and $20,000 is available for two different projects being undertaken in Victoria between January and December 2016. This opportunity will benefit small, flexible organisations which are delivering grass roots awareness programs and which can demonstrate creative and innovative approaches to making a difference within their local communities.

Wilson HTM employees have selected the focus area, and will collectively vote to select the two projects to be supported.

To be eligible to apply, applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • Be endorsed as a Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR) as covered by Item 1 of the table in section 30-15 of the Income Tax Assessment Act 1997, and be endorsed as a Tax Concession Charity (TCC)
  • Provide their most recent published financial statements indicating that total organisational annual turnover is $2,000,000 per annum or less
  • Operate from headquarters in Victoria with an active presence in the state (and potentially interstate)
  • Be in a position to submit a viable project which can be planned and executed primarily in Victoria and can be completed in the 12 months from January 1, 2016
  • Have plans to secure the total funds required for the project – if in excess of the amount offered
  • Provide strong leadership and sufficient staff and / or volunteering networks to successfully deliver the nominated project.
  • Please note that organisations with overt political affiliations and those which receive federal government funding are not eligible to apply.

All expressions of interest are to outline one project or program which would benefit materially from receiving $10,000 in funds (general fundraising appeals will not be supported).

Indications as to how this project could then be scaled in size and/or expanded with an additional $10,000 are also requested.

Only one expression of interest per project can be submitted by each participating organisation.
