This year’s symposium, to be held in Melbourne on 19 October, covers a broad spectrum of issues faced in association management.
Dr Robert Fitzgerald, Commissioner of the Australian Productivity Commission which is assessing the contributions of the not-for-profit sector, will highlight the current issues confronting the sector and the opportunities that are emerging. He will further outline a proposed reform agenda that will improve relations between government, business and the sector and enhance the efficiency, effectiveness and sustainability of the sector.
CEO of Community Information Strategies Doug Jacquier will look at the benefits and advancement of social media in an association context.
Damien Smith CEO of Enterprise Care will look at the results of the 2009 Annual NFP Remuneration Survey when discussing benchmarking employee salaries and maintain competitive rates to get the best people.
