Christmas Networking Lunches a success

Held in Melbourne on Wednesday 1st December and Sydney on Thursday 2nd December, the lunches were a sold-out success.

A glass of champagne upon arrival ensured that the lunches kicked off to a celebratory start. Guests were able to mingle before being seated for a Christmas-themed lunch.

Between meals, a networking game was conducted in good spirit in which delegates were invited to find other randomly-selected group members with the chance to win a Christmas gift.

The games resulted in good feeling and intermingling amongst guests.

Future events

Third Sector is planning a suit of Professional Development Seminars for not-for-profits in 2011.

Governance is the confirmed topic of the first seminar, to be held in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane in March 2011.

The seminar will be a chance to listen, learn and share with associations, member representative, community and advocacy groups to develop your not-for-profit governance needs.

The full seminar program of speakers is being finalised but we are excited to have Steven Bowman onboard to present an intensive workshop with the not-for-profit delegates in each state.
