National Social Inclusion Week encourages individuals and groups to foster a sense of belonging in their community by holding or attending a social inclusion-focused community event.

It provides a forum for governments, councils, educational institutions, not-for-profits and the general public to share knowledge and experience to educate and raise awareness.
