National Volunteer Week is the largest celebration of volunteers and volunteerism in Australia, and provides an opportunity to highlight the role of volunteers in our communities and to say thank you to the more than 5 million Australians who volunteer.

To help organisations celebrate the contributions of their volunteers during this week, Volunteering Australia will provide some free promotional material, including an A3 poster, lapel pin and postcard.

Orders for items can be placed on the Volunteering Australia website (link) from 11am Tuesday 19 January. Ordering closes 16 February at 4pm and items should begin to arrive in early March.

There is a limited quantity of items available so make sure you get your order in before stocks run out!

Important ordering information:

• Items are free of charge. When checking out of Shopping Cart, you need to select the payment option ‘Other’ and enter the word ‘FREE’.
• You will receive a confirmation email to your nominated email address immediately after you have ordered. Please check that all your details are correct and notify Volunteering Australia immediately if changes are required. If you do not receive this email, your order may not have been registered and you should contact Volunteering Australia.
• You can order any number of items up to the set maximum quantity of 200 posters, 100 lapel pins and 50 postcards.
• If you require more than 100 lapel pins, you can purchase them direct from the supplier, {encode=”david@promotif.com.au” title=”David Wassell”} before 1 February 2010.
