New CEOs appointed

Mark Carmichael has been elected CEO for The Australian Society of Anaesthetists.

Carmichael has over 15 years experience in the not-for-profit sector, including as acting CEO for the Australian Society of Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery for the past four years.

Mooney has been appointed as CEO of Good Shepherd Microfinance.

Established over 30 years ago, Good Shepherd Microfinance is a national community organisation working to help Australians on low income battle poverty and hardship through the innovative delivery of microfinance solutions.

Mooney most recently worked for Reconciliation Australia where he performed several roles, including acting CEO and Director of Business Development. He was also past co-chair of the Indigenous Financial Services Network.
