Brisbane-based small business Curatorial: Chocolates has teamed up with top chocolatiers from around Australia to release an indulgent new range of handmade artisan chocolate gift packs in time for Christmas.
If you’re looking for the perfect gift for a friend or loved one, or you’re a generous boss looking to treat your staff at Christmas, there’s a range of beautifully-wrapped artisan chocolate gift packs on offer for the milk, dark or white chocolate lover.
Curatorial: Chocolates Director Michelle Wade encouraged people to buy local and support Australian small businesses this Christmas.
“By buying local this Christmas you’ll be supporting us and other small chocolate businesses in Queensland, New South Wales, Tasmania and Victoria and you’ll be sure of getting a product that’s of the absolute highest quality.
“All of our chocolates are sourced from Australian-based chocolatiers and chocolate makers who’ve made an art of making divine, handmade chocolates.”
With Christmas fast approaching, Curatorial: Chocolates’ has launched a range of carefully-selected chocolate gift packs. These come with pairing advice on their website recommending the best beer, wine, spirits, cheese and accoutrements to fully savour each chocolate.
Favourite tastes in the range include milk chocolate dipped vanilla marshmallow, the decadence bar topped with a layer of salted caramel and a dash of gold, caramelised coconut macnuts, and a gorgeous white chocolate berry bark that features a beautiful floral design.
Wade said a best-seller so far is the Curatorial: Chocolates Ultimate Entertainer Selection, which is perfect for a dessert board when entertaining over the festive season. It features the Swellegent Collection Box of Pralines, Milk Rocky Road, a Turkish Delight Bar, Chocolate Coated Whole Strawberries and Dark Scorched Almonds.
“All chocolates in our range have a high cocoa content, low sugar and no additives. And they all have to pass the big five – look, smell, texture, sound and taste – to make the final selection.
“If you’re not after a full gift pack, we also have individual boxes and blocks to suit any budget.”
Curatorial: Chocolates use express post and couriers for delivery and use heat resistant packaging with a reusable ice pack in warm weather. Ms Wade advised customers to get in as early as possible for Christmas gifts, and all interstate Christmas orders need to be booked by Friday 9 December to ensure gifts were delivered on time.
Curatorial: Chocolates owners Michelle Wade and Bridget McDonald launched their online chocolate retailer curatorial chocolates.com.au/ earlier this year after finding a gap in the market for fine chocolate lovers like themselves who wanted to browse Australia’s best chocolates in one place.
